I was invited to this woman’s home and her eyes told so many stories~ In the remote village of Mu Shan in the mountains of Yunnan.
I could “listen” to this woman for hours. Visually striking. Beautiful portrait.
So beautiful Mimo.. can’t help noticing the flies on her shoulder. The natural light ( if it is) is perfect for this subject. This photo proves why the saying “the eyes are the windows to the soul” is so accurate.
Such beautiful work. The photos in this series are amazing! Not that it really matters, but do you have any idea how old some of these women actually are?
